The VooPoo Drag 3 Mod is suited to both intermediate and advanced vapers and is powered by dual 18650 batteries. Please note, these batteries are not included. It is a powerful sub-ohm device which can reach a maximum output of 177W.  

It has a range of features including a stylish leather outercasing which fits comfortably in your hand and is perfect for whilst your on the move. The all-new GENE FAN 2.0 chip allows you to personalise your vaping experience to suit you, with a range of multiple modes including smart mode, super mode and temperature control mode.  

Smart Mode – When your PnP Coil is inserted, the smart mode will offer you a more simple experience by selecting the appropriate wattage 

Super Mode – This mode is ideal for lower resistance coils, but provides you with an improved vapour production and enhanced firing 

Temperature Control Mode – This mode can be used to ensure that your coil compatibility is increased

Design and Build Quality

The Drag 3 looks similar to the Drag Max. It has the same visuals, with the only difference being the connection type. The drag 3 comes in a range of five colours which include smoky grey, classic, sandy brown, Prussian blue and marsala.

The Drag 3 is wrapped in high-quality leather with a more boxy and straight design. The leather is stamped with the "Drag 3" symbol on one side and "Voopoo” on the other.

The zinc-alloy frame, with brushed metal inlays, wrap and surround the leather giving the mod a premium, high-end feel and look.

The Drag 3 is an average-sized device and quite lightweight, considering it is a dual-battery mod. It's perfect for trips out of the house. It is just the right size and not too heavy to carry in your pocket.

Features and functions

The Drag 3 features the Gene. Fan 2.0 chipset that first featured on the Drag Max. The chip is capable of firing from 5 to 177W and also has the Smart mode, RBA mode and TC modes.

The smart mode works best when the device is paired with the included TPP tank or Voopoo’s Pnp tanks. It also works with the TPP or PnP coils. The RBA mode works more like the standard wattage mode. You can use it with other non-Voopoo Subohm tanks and RBAs. In this mode, you can set the wattage as high as you like with no restrictions. Pressing the fire button three times switches between the different modes.

The button combination for the Drag 3 include:

• 5 clicks of the fire button powers the device On/Off
• 5 clicks of the fire button switches modes
• Press and hold both adjustment buttons brings up the UI menu. You can then use the adjustment buttons to select the UI you want and press and hold the fire button to confirm.
• Press and hold the fire button and top adjustment button together to lock all the buttons, including the fire button.
• Press and hold the fire button and bottom adjustment button together to reset the puff counter.
• Hold both adjustment buttons while in TC mod to open the TC settings menu. You can change the TCR value in the menu, set the coil resistance, or adjust the wattage.

TPP Tank

The Drag 3 comes with a versatile TPP tank. It's a pod-style tank that also works with the Argus, Argus Pro, Argus X, Drag Max and the Drag X and S options. The tank has a 510 adapter and is compatible with Voopoo’s PnP tanks.

The kit comes with new TPP coils, which are the DM1, a 0.15ohm coil and the DM2 0.20ohm coil. The tank fits flawlessly with the design of the Drag 3, complementing its straight and boxy appearance. The drip tip is wide-bore and removable. The enormous tank holds 5.5ml of vape juice and is bottom filled through a port located at the bottom of the tank.

The port is deep and has a rubber bung that plugs it and prevents leakages. The tank works for both DL and MTL vapes depending on the coils you use and the airflow adjustment.
